Figma MCP
Connecting LLMs with Figma allows me to work significantly faster. I use this mainly to define primitives of a design system, which is easy to do but so tedious. I also use it for usability audits, verifying component structure, and managing conflicts. For projects that I do end-to-end, I use it to translate design directly to code.
Git Workflow
One of the most important skills I learned at the Apple Developer Academy. It allows me to work seamlessly with engineers, ensuring a smooth handover and letting me deploy products by myself. It is a straightforward workflow, and it bridges the gap between design and production.
Agentic AI & Automation
Most designers create products that are visible, but I believe designers should also create something invisible like workflow automation. Someone really famous said "Good design is invisible", and maybe this is one of the meanings of that saying. I don't use AI for creative work, but automating tedious tasks is where it shines.
